Method one: Uninstall or remove WinMend History Cleaner with Windows uninstaller.
1. Press start menu and then go to Control Panel
2. Switch to Add/Remove Programs
3. Locate WinMend History Cleaners on the list and click Remove to uninstall it.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the uninstall process.
If you fail to uninstall the program with the above steps, try method two.
Method Two: Manually uninstall Nod 32.
After finishing the above steps, follow the below steps one by one.
1. Restart computer into safe mode.
2. Click Start and then Run
3. Type "Regedit" in the box and press "Enter" to access Registry Editor.
4. Locate and remove the below registry entries from your computer:
[a] HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ESET
[b] HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ESET
[c] HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\egui
5. Then open "My Computer", Tools, Folder Options and tick "Show hidden files and folders".
6. Navigate to C:\WINDOWS\inf folder and directly delete "INFCACHE.1" file.
7. Last, restart your computer and then check whether there are the below three folders the computer. If so, simply delete them.
• C:\Program Files\ESET
• C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ESET
•C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\ESET
Please be careful enough when performing the above steps for a minor mistake will result in total computer corruption. If you are not an advanced computer user, you should proceed the method three.
Method Three: Automatically uninstall WinMend History Cleaner.
1. Click to download the ESET uninstaller and install it on your PC.
2. Locate WinMend History Cleaner in the Display Name list.
3. Click "Uninstall" to begin the uninstallation process.
4. Follow the on-screen steps to finish the removal.
With the above steps, you can thoroughly uninstall WinMend History Cleaner from your computer without worrying that it will leave down some unexpected entries both in program files and Windows registry.
