How DO I Remove Bitlord Toolbar?

I found a toolbar called Bitlord on my Google Chrome this morning. I have never heard of such toolbar and installed it on my browser at all. Since this toolbar appeared on my browser, I have noticed some problems, for examples, there are lots of ads popping up on the webpage I am visiting and the network speed becomes slower than usual. I suspect that those problems occur mainly due to this unsolicited toolbar. Is the Bitlord Toolbar safe? Will it pose a threat to my computer? How can I completely remove Bitlord Toolbar from my browser?

Similar to Systweak Toolbar and Sweet Packs Toolbar, the Bitlord Toolbar is a browser toolbar for browsers like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. However, it is not only a common toolbar providing users with the easy and quick search function, but also a tool used to collect users’ person information. Most of the time, this toolbar comes bundled with freeware or shareware and gets installed onto users’ browsers during the installation process of the freeware or shareware downloaded from unsafe sources. Certainly, this toolbar is not as malicious as Trojan horse which will badly damage users’ computer system and make it almost unusable; however, it really brings some trouble to users.

Once installed, the Bitlord Toolbar will make some changes to users’ Web browser settings, which causes various annoying problems. Numerous advertisements pop up on the affected Web browsers, which interrupt users’ activities and prevent them from using the browsers normally. This toolbar may also cause Web browser redirection – users’ browsers keep being redirected to some unknown websites when they search for something using the toolbar. Actually, the BitLord Toolbar is designed by cyber hackers with the intension of making great money by hijacking users’ search results to certain websites and further misleading them into buy certain products or services. Other than hijacking users’ browsers, this toolbar may also steal users’ personal information. It is reported that this toolbar has spyware capabilities which enable it to spy on users’ online activities and collect information about users’ online history and search habits. That information collected may be sold to some advertisers and it is no strange that you will receive a lot of pop-up ads that match your interests or habits. The Bitlord Toolbar may also cause the decrease of browsers performance and other unexpected issue. To fix all those problems, users should remove this toolbar as soon as possible.

Bitlord-Toolbar is not a safe browser toolbar. When it gets installed on users’ PCs, it can modify the browser settings, causing changes of the default homepage and search engine. Thus, it can keep redirecting users’ browsers to some specified websites. Moreover, this toolbar would cause users’ personal information theft. So, users should get rid of it as early as possible. If there is any difficulty in performing the manual removal task, users can also consider using a professional removal tool to easily and completely remove this unwelcome toolbar!
