Kaspersky Anti-Virus is a program that protects us from the Phishing and Malware sites that we wouldn't otherwise know were attempting to steal from us so as to keep our computers always protected. But sometime, it is necessary for us to uninstall it from our computer because of some reasons. As we all know that, most of the time, we can directly uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus the two methods below:
1. Uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs utility in the Microsoft Windows Control Panel
To accomplish this, we can simply follow the steps below:
a) click Start menu
b) go to Control Panel
c) double click Add/Remove Programs list
d) find/highlight Kaspersky Anti-Virus and then click Remove to uninstall it
This will be the most normal way to uninstall this program from the computer. If it is not listed in the Add/Remove Programs list, we can uninstall it with the second method below.
2. Uninstall it with its own uninstaller
To let the customer easily use the program, the publisher provides us a sub-link to uninstall/repair the program. To do this, we can go to Start menu - All Programs - Find Kaspersky Anti-Virus in the dropdown list - find and then click the uninstall link within its directory.
Sometimes, the program will neither list in the Add/Remove Programs list nor in All Program, or there will be some files or registry entries left in the drives or registry after the removal which need to be manually deleted. For users who are very professional on computers, they can easily get the job done. But for some computer idiots, it will be a little difficult. To solve this problem, they can seek help from the third methods.
3. Uninstall it with a professional uninstaller
As we all know that with the development of the internet technology, there are thousands of uninstallers published around us. Of all the uninstaller I have used, I found that Perfect Uninstaller is really a program that can help uninstall almost any unwanted programs and it provides us several other kinds of services such as back up the registry, Network Interface Card and so on.
